Final Project (how it feels to need to write/journal sim)

I have settled on an idea for a final project. Something I can see myself using day to day if I end up with a product that I like. Here’s the gist:
Upon booting up “how it feels to need to write” the user sees what looks to be a cluttered bedroom, a chest of drawers with socks and other garments hastily shoved into the drawers, crooked wall art, a buzzing cd player/radio (with randomly generated soundtrack/drones) and a desk with lots of utensils and three (maybe more or less) books.
The user can interact by straightening wall art , turning on and off the cd player and tidying the drawers with clicks. These are smaller details but the type of thing I want to try to do for immersion. The main feature are the journals, on the desk there will be journals, user should be able to open one with a click, it should be clear via ui that the next thing for the user to do is to write in the journal by typing. Each time the user presses enter, a text of similar length will generate with Markov chains. Each book should have it’s own corpus. Currently I’m thinking one will be a corpus of all of the words used in my poem generator project from earlier this year, one will be song lyrics and one will be sophisticated in some way. I’m thinking either something like wikipedia articles or manuals of some kind.
I would love feedback on how to make this feasible!
I am considering coding this one in LUA.
